Question: My son is currently on Purified Pork NPH and R insulin. I would like some information about mixing Pork NPH with the new Humalog insulin. I cannot seen to find any studies that were done using pork insulin. Any information would be appreciated. Answer: Eli Lilly has not formally tested the safety of mixing purified pork insulin and lispro insulin [Humalog®] I am not aware of any published studies.
