Question: From Michigan, USA: I have recently started to use Humalog. Since it acts fast, I have problems in covering foods which absorb slowly, such as beans. What can I do to maintain better control? Answer: You might find that Regular alone or in combination with a smaller dose of lispro insulin [Humalog®] may work better.
