Question:

From Nova Scotia, Canada:

I am 25 years old and my fiance is 23 years old and we are both diabetic for 15 years. Is it possible to have a healthy baby?

Answer:

With proper control of your diabetes you should be able to get through a pregnancy and have a healthy child. If you are thinking about becoming pregnant, discuss this with your gynecologist and endocrinologist.
