Question:

From Prince George, British Columbia, Canada:

How do I convert mmols to mgs?

Answer:

Multiply (or divide) by 18:

To change from millimoles/liter to milligrams/deciliter, multiply by 18:

Example: 4 mmol/l multiplied by 18 is 72 mg/dl.

Or, to change from mg/dl to mmol/liter, divide by 18:

Example: 108 mg/dl divided by 18 is 6 mmol/l.
