Question:

From Texas, USA:

My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 one year ago. I read of problems with insulin shot locations, knots or indentations. Can those be avoided with a jet injector?

Answer:

I personally am not an enthusiast for jet injectors. They are expensive and complex and to my mind really offer no advantages over Ultrafine needles.

Injecting round the edge of lipoatrophic areas seems to help and rotating injection sites over as wide an area as possible may avoid hypertrophy.
