Question: From Cairo, Egypt:
I've heard about a watch of some sort (or a bracelet) that diabetics wear to tell them when they need their insulin and the dose they need (without the common home blood tests). Does this thing exist, and if so, how can I get it? Is it available for on-line purchase?
Answer:
The product to which you are referring is called the GlucoWatch. It is being developed by Cygnus, a company in California. The product is in testing and is not available for sale anywhere in the world.
