From Michigan, USA:
I am 10 years old. I have Type 1 diabetes. If I eat a spoonful of peanut butter before I eat something sweet, will it lower the amount of sugar that is put into my system?
Sounds like an interesting idea, but actually all the peanut butter will do is possibly prolong the absorption of the sweets. It gives you a lot of calories, besides, so I would suggest not doing that very often.
