Question:

From Florida, USA:

I'm a 24 year old type 1 diabetic. I have had diabetes for 11 years. I have a 1 year old child I delivered by C-section. I am thinking of having more children. Is there a specific number of births a diabetic mother can endure before causing serious problems?

Answer:

There is not a specific number of births that a diabetic mother can tolerate. It is more a matter of your current health status and desire to go through a pregnancy.
