Question:

From Greenwich, NY, USA:

I was wondering if you are aware of any scholarship opportunities for nursing (RN) programs for type 1 diabetics. I am 28 years old, was recently diagnosed with type 1 and would like to return to school to become an RN with the intent on working with diabetic patients.

Answer:

Contact Eli Lilly, as they have college scholarships for students with type 1 diabetes.

Additional comments from Dr. Quick:

Also, contact AADE and leave a message on their Bulletin Board and ask if anyone there is aware of any
