Question:

From Kearney, Nebraska, USA:

Is there any information on the pesticide Chlordane and it causing diabetes? Chlordane is used to kill termites. It is stored in the fat cells of humans. Me and my three sisters all came down with diabetes during puberty, after our house was fogged with chlordane. No family history of diabetes.

Answer:

I could find no computer reference in the National Library of Medicine that associates chlordane with diabetes of any kind.
