Question: From Illinois, USA:
I am really concerned about a friend that has diabetes. Is there any way you can help prevent peripheral neuropathy or autonomic neuropathy to occur at the age of 13?
Answer:
Neuropathy is virtually unheard of in children. For the future: control the diabetes; keep the A1c in good control.
