Question: From West Milford, New Jersey, USA: Has there ever been any research done on the trace mineral chromium and how it affects blood sugar levels in type 1 diabetics? Answer: Not as far as I know. The research has been done on those with type 2 diabetes, although some were on insulin. I would not recommend its usage for those with type 1 diabetes.
