I am looking for anyone who has or has had thickening tendons. Any information concerning this condition would be appreciated. Diabetes is type 1 and has been diagnosed for 40 years. Person is of middle age.

Answer:

Limited Joint Mobility is a glucose related thickening of the connective tissues. It manifests itself in limited ability to extend the fingers and the elbows. I wonder if this isn't what is being described. It clearly is related to glucose control.
