Question: From Aguadilla, Puerto Rico:
My 6 year old daughter have been recently diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia. I'm very confused with the diet she must follow. Please can you help me?
Answer:
Problems with hypoglycemia can be avoided with changes to your daughter's diet. This is a complicated issue and is best addressed by a good dietitian. Your child's pediatrician should be able to help you contact one that will take the time necessary to help you understand how to change her diet to avoid problems.
