Question:

From Singapore:

I found ants on my daughter's panties which she threw on the floor in the toilet. Is this a cause for worry that the urine has sugar? Do I need to send her for a test?

Answer:

No, I don't think so -- not without symptoms of thirst, passing a lot of urine and weight loss. Ants are not too choosy about what they crawl over.
