Question:

From Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA:

My daughter was diagnosed as mildly autistic and we've noticed she becomes very irritable and irrational at times. We note that after we feed her this goes away and she is calm. Could this be diabetes or hypoglycemia?

Answer:

This is unlikely to be diabetes or hypoglycemia. If these symptoms persist, please contact your physician to discuss your concerns.
