Question:

From Falmouth, Michigan, USA:

Is it common for young children, aged eight to ten, to have seizures as a symptom of diabetes? She doesn't have any other symptoms, but she really kind of plump and, just recently, began having seizures. We can't seem to find the cause.

Answer:

Seizures are not an expected symptom of previously undiagnosed diabetes.
