Question:

From Kittery Point, Maine, USA:

My daughter called from college and said she had a problem she has never had before. Her feet are sweating feet terribly, she is very thirsty, and she is tired all of the time. I'm most puzzled about the sweating feet. Are sweating feet a symptom of diabetes?

Answer:

I'm not aware of the sweating feet as linked to undiagnosed diabetes. Tiredness and thyroid disease come to mind, but the thirst could be due to diabetes. Sounds like a trip the infirmary, or home to the family doctor, are in order.
