Question: From Chelmsford, Essex, England:
I soon will be 17 and I hope to take my driving test. Will I have to take an extra test of some sort because of my diabetes? I understand that my car insurance may cost more, is this true?
Answer:
As far as I am aware, you don't have to do anything extra to get your driving test, but you do have to declare that you have diabetes.
