Question: From Pietersburg, Northern Province, South Africa:
My two year old son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I have not yet been informed what his blood sugar level should be. What should it be for two-year old who weighs 13.5 kg?
Answer:
Blood glucose levels should be maintained between 4 and 10 mmol/L [72-180mg/dl] as much as possible.
