Question: From Smithsburg, Maryland, USA:
Is it possible to give yourself diabetes if insulin is injected when it is not needed?
Answer:
Insulin will not give you diabetes. We are actually using injected insulin in the DPT-1 research study to try to keep people from developing diabetes.
