Question:

From Bracebridge, Ontario, Canada:

My two sons, ages six and nine, were diagnosed with diabetes four years ago, at the same time that a factory opened next door to our residence. Is there an environmental link between certain chemicals (toxic) and developing this disease?

Answer:

There are no data about clusters of diabetes and any known toxin, chemical, etc.
