Answer: To learn more about the insulin pump, visit the websites of the manufacturers: MiniMed, Disetronic, and Animas. In addition see Is pumping for you? to learn more about the pros and cons of pump use. Both the Animas and the Disetronic pumps are waterproof and can be worn while swimming and showering. It's probably not a good idea to wear a pump while using a hot tub, but you can learn how to disconnect it without losing control for such activities.
