Question: From Bedford, Texas, USA: A friend of mine just found out that her unborn baby has full blown diabetes. What kind of complications can that have on her and the unborn child? Answer: I need some clarification on this. Are you sure it is not the mother who has "full blown diabetes"? I have never seen a baby diagnosed with diabetes while still in utero.
