Question:

From Florida, USA:

What type of vitamins should a 14 year old and a 10 year old with diabetes take to get the appropriate amount they need each day?

Answer:

I'm not a pusher of vitamins, but certainly a multi-vitamin won't hurt them. The major national brands are okay, as far as I'm concerned.

LD

[Editor's comment: If these young people are eating healthy meal plans based on the Food Guide Pyramid, they will get all the daily requirements of vitamins without needing any supplements. SS]
