From Denman Island, British Columbia, Canada:

I recently purchased a new meter made by the same manufacturer as the old one. In comparing tests (four tests with both blood and control solution), I have found a consistent difference of up to 2 mmol/L [36 mg/dl] between the two meters. Would this be considered a significant difference?

Answer:

Yes. You should contact the manufacturer.
