Question:

From Johannesburg, South Africa:

What research is being done to enable the constant monitoring of blood sugar levels?

Answer:

Lots and all around the world. The GlucoWatch made by Cygnus and the The Continuous Glucose Monitoring System made by MiniMed are approved in the United States with many other companies and individuals desperately working to patent such systems, make them more accurate, less invasive and not very costly. Stay tuned. The race is on.
