Question:

From Kentucky, USA:

My 13 year old sister developed type 1 diabetes at age 10. What are the consequences that developing diabetes has caused on her organs becoming fully developed?

Answer:

Getting diabetes at age 10 does not affect the development of the organs unless the blood sugars are very poorly controlled.
