Question: From Renton, Washington, USA:
My two year old daughter becomes very tearful and emotional if she is late getting a meal, especially in the evening. Within 15 minutes after eating her behavior is back to being a happy, active kid. I had gestational diabetes (though I currently do not have diabetes). Should I get her tested for diabetes or hypoglycemia?
Answer:
This is not unusual for a two year old to feel very hungry and hypo. It does not mean that she has diabetes.
