Question: From West Barnstable, Massachusetts, USA:
I have had type 1 diabetes for 27 years, and at the present moment, my husband and I have no insurance. The cost of all my supplies is putting a great strain on us. I have not been to a doctor in about three years, and am now having signs of severe depression, which gets worse because I don't know how to pay for a doctor's visit. Most insurance companies have denied me or are so outrageously expensive it's nuts. Do you know of a good insurance company willing to take on people with diabetes, without a "cobra" policy?
