Question:

From Jacksonville, Florida, USA:

I'm 16, and I'm wondering if I have hypoglycemia. When I work out I get faint and very shaky, and when I play soccer, I get so shaky I can't stand up! I hydrate myself before, during, and after all activities, and I eat every few hours, but nothing seems to help!

Answer:

It is unlikely that this represents a problem with blood sugar. I would review these symptoms with your physician.
