Question:

From Thorold, Ontario, Canada:

My 14 year old son has just started having memory problems, and I read an article that stated that memory loss has been associated with diabetes. We have a lot of diabetes in our family so we get tested about once a year just to make sure. Is memory loss a symptom of diabetes?

Answer:

Memory loss is not a symptom of diabetes.
