Question:

From Long Beach, California, USA:

How does MDMA [Ecstacy] affect people with type 1 diabetes? How does it affect blood sugar levels?

Answer:

Since MDMA, or Ecstasy, is a central nervous system stimulant which acts like epinephrine, it could greatly affect blood sugar levels. In addition, several studies have now shown it causes permanent brain damage. See Ecstasy's Legacy. Ecstasy is very dangerous and shouldn't be used at all, whether you do or do not have diabetes.

Additional comments from Dr. Larry Deeb:

Regrettably, or thankfully, depending on your point of reference, I have no clue. Just don't do it.
