Question:

From Durham, United Kingdom:

My 12 year old son has newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes, and we are to travel to Barbados on a two weeks holiday. What brands and strengths of insulin are available on the island?

Answer:

Bring all your insulin and supplies with enough so that any lost or stolen won't be a problem. Then you do not have to rely on what is available on a small Caribbean island.
