Question:

From Louisville, Kentucky, USA:

I have been on insulin for over 23 years, and any times during the past 10 years or so, I have experienced low-blood sugar episodes, and many times I have recovered on my own after a few hours. I apparently suffer from hypoglycemia unawareness. Where can I find more info about these conditions and problems?

Answer:

Resources for diabetes-related problems are available through the American Diabetes Association, and their web site. I would suggest you start there. There are also a variety of publications published by the ADA that are available on the subject. You can reach these through the web site.
