Question: From Twin Falls, Idaho, USA:
I am confused about Novolog. How is it different from Regular? What are the benefits to using it when it becomes available in the US?
Answer:
Novolog has shorter onset, peak, and duration times than Regular. It is similar to Humalog.
Whether it would be beneficial to you is something you need to discuss with your diabetes team.
[Editor's comment: Novolog became available some time ago in Europe, and more recently (September, 2001) in the USA. WWQ]
