Question: From New Cambria, Missouri, USA:
I have type 2 diabetes, and recently I have been having symptoms of low blood sugar, but when I do the test my meter reading is high. I eat two pieces of hard candy, and it lowers my blood sugar instead of raising it. Why is this occurring?
Answer:
I doubt the candy really does that. It is more likely your blood sugar is on the way down and you feel funny then. Please see your doctor soon to evaluate this and find a better way of controlling your blood sugars.
