Question: From Oshawa, Ontario, Canada: I am 28 years old, recently diagnosed with diabetes, and my physician has me testing twice a day. However, although I work full-time, I have no health insurance or any financial recourse for the strips used for testing, and the cheapest strips the I can find are about $90 for 100 of them. Any suggestion on where I can purchase them or receive some help with the cost? Answer: I suggest that you contact the Canadian Diabetes Association for information about resources in Canada.
