Question: From Houston, Texas, USA: In the recent movie, Panic Room, Jodie Foster's movie daughter wears a non-invasive blood-glucose testing device, similar to, but smaller and better looking than the Cygnus Glucowatch Biographer. Does this device exist or is it part of the film-maker's imagination? If it does, can you provide me with the name of the manufacturer? Answer: I did not see the movie, but the device might have been the infrared-based instrument which is not yet FDA approved. See Instrumentation Metrics.
