Question:

From Ontario, Canada:

I am a male who has had diabetes for about 24 years now, and at the age of 21, I was unable to have children which I assume was due to the diabetes. I'd like to know whether there are treatments to fix this.

Answer:

There are some basic tests that can be done to determine if there is normal sperm count, motility and function. Diabetes may affect any or all of these factors. I would suggest that you consult with a urologist about this.
