Question: From Freeport, Illinois, USA:
We have a family history of diabetes, I had gestational diabetes, and I never have had my 10 year old daughter checked for diabetes. Should I?
Answer:
No. Unless your daughter has symptoms of diabetes, you should not have any tests done.
