Question: From Santa Rosa, California, USA:
My son has been really glassy-eyed and very tired with no energy. He has had a white, very dry tongue and always wants sugar. I read the signs of dehydration but It doesn't say anything about being glassy-eyed, and diabetes does run in our family. How do you know if your child has diabetes?
Answer:
I am afraid that you are not giving us much to go on. For what it's worth, it doesn't really sound like diabetes but you should take your son to see a paediatrician.
