Question:

From Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA:

I am a 27 year old female with a family history of type 2 diabetes, and my doctor suspects I might have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. For the past three months, I have experienced a sweet, sugary taste in my mouth. Could this be a symptom of diabetes?

Answer:

The sweet taste in your mouth does not remind me of a specific diagnosis.
