Question:

From Las Vegas, Nevada, USA:

There are problems with diabetes on both side of my family, and I was just diagnosed with hypoglycemia. Is a form of diabetes?

Answer:

Hypoglycemia is not a form of diabetes.

MSB

[Editor's comment: Sometimes, there appears to be an increased chance that people with hypoglycemia and a family history of diabetes may have an increased risk of developing diabetes in the future. WWQ]
