Question:

From Port Charlotte, Florida, USA:

My mother, who has diabetes and arthritis, says that the bottom of her feet feel like they are walking on rocks or marbles. Her circulation appears to be good. Have you ever heard of this?

Answer:

Please have your mother see her physician regarding the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic neuropathy. There are several basic care issues geared toward preventive care and some treatment choices geared at decreasing symptoms.
