Question: From Edmonton, Alberta, Canada:
Can loss of bladder control be a symptom of diabetes?
Answer:
The involvement of nerves that control bladder function can be involved with diabetes. However, it is not usually an initial symptom of diabetes. Rather, it is a late symptom in a person who generally has neuropathy and previously-diagnosed diabetes.
