Question:

From Tifton, Georgia, USA:

My son daydreams a lot in class and has a very hard time staying focused. Does his diabetes have anything to do with this?

Answer:

Daydreaming is common with or without diabetes. However, you should consider if hypoglycemia could be a problem. A few well-timed blood sugar tests should resolve the issue,
