Question: From a pediatric neurologist in Brazil: I have a patient who also has type 1 diabetes, and the parents asked me about insulin metabolism and excretion. I learned that insulin is metabolized by the liver and kidney and in normal subjects there is no excretion. Is that information correct? Answer: You are correct.
