Question:

From Lititz, Pennsylvania, USA:

I have been hearing about the glycemic index for foods, but I have not discussed this with my daughter's pediatrician. Where can I find a list of foods and their glycemic index?

Answer:

For a complete list of all 750 foods that have been tested for their glycemic index, see Revised International Table of Glycemic Index (GI) and Glycemic Load (GL) Values-2002 See Glycemic Values of Common American Foods for a much shorter list.
