Question:

From Portales, New Mexico, USA:

Seven months ago, I found out I have type 2 diabetes, and my seven year old grandson is overweight but active. He told his mom that he sees different colored balls all the time, and he has had glasses for bout two years. Is this something to be worried about? I am worried he might have diabetes.

Answer:

I do not think that your grandson's visual problems have anything to do with diabetes.
